Long Laurel Ridge Drive was restriped in December of 2023.

A center, double yellow line was painted from the entrance to where the road narrows towards the top of the mountain - about 1.3 miles.

Where the road narrows towards the top of the mountain, white stripes were painted on the left and right edge of the road.

An early morning storm with high winds and lightning on August 20, 2026 knocked down a number of trees in the neighborhood. These were across the main road. Neighbors Fred, Paul, Shane, and Van cut a path so vehicles could pass, and Zack McCrackin Grading LLC
(706-490-2100) cleared the debris a few days later.
Thanks to all who take care of our neighborhood!

The speed limit on all of our roads is 25 MPH. Please read the "Slow Down" document below. Speeding is a serious issue on our curvy, narrow roads.
Also, please be aware of the several "blind driveways" in Laurel Ridge. Drive with caution!

This tree fell across Long Laurel Ridge Drive near the neighborhood entrance on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Benfield Tree Service (706-970-1120) quickly responded to our call, and the tree was cleared that afternoon with debris removed on Friday. Thanks to Nathan Benfield and his crew for his timely service!

Thanks to Dick, Van, and Shane!

Thanks to Sarah!
